Today, the Army Run was held in Ottawa which hosted 18,000 runners doing a 5 Km race and a 1/2 marathon in order to raise awareness of the military, promote fitness, and raise funds. Minister of Foreign Affairs for the Republic of Korea, His Excellency Sung-Hwan Kim, today laid a wreath at the National War Memorial acknowledging the shared history between Korea and Canada during the Korean War. Also in attendance were Minister John Baird and Senator Yohah Martin.
Today was the day the media was to show up at Vintage Wings of Canada (VWoC) to get all excited for the airshow for the 15th & 16th of September where VWoC would have their own aircraft flying and on display as well as play host to a number of other aircraft including the Snowbirds….
