my galleries

Most photographers will setup a gallery of photos and show you their best work. What you are seeing are ONLY the best images, not all the images that you can expect to get from your event. Did the photographer get lucky with one shot? Is every shot that good? Maybe – maybe not. If you’ve ever shot photos for yourself, you know that not every image is a “keeper”. Not every image is in focus, not every image contributes to the story. What is important then is that the body of work, the ENTIRE body of work, needs to be considered when you evaluate a photographer to provide for your needs.

What we have done for our galleries is provide the entire collection taken for that event that was presented to our client. This way you get to see the entire story of the event and see a documented record of usable images of the entire event. Also, with each gallery, there is an article or story which you will miss if you just view the gallery. Go to the [SEARCH] function and look for your subject event and you will get the story and there will be a link to all the pictures embedded therein.

Many images appear to be duplicated or very close to a previous image. Maybe one is zoomed in a little or a slightly different perspective by a step left or right from the previous shot. Maybe the mouth position of the speaker is more in character with how you know the speaker, perhaps a hand gesture or body position is something that differs slightly from similar images and you, the client, find one more appealing than the other. Sometimes it’s just waiting for a wind to blow a flag out straight.  Regardless, it is up to you, the client, to determine which image speaks more to you rather than have us make that decision for you.  With our service, we give you as many photos as we can take with as much variety as we can get so that you get the most varied selection to suit your needs.

Please view our galleries at your leisure to get an idea of what an entire body of work consists of when we do the documentation for you.
