Richard Robinson

A pleasant surprise today as I walked down Sussex Street and stopped to look in the window of Richard Robinson Ready To Wear (couture design). I said to myself, “I know that model as I took her picture last year.”. And then I looked again and saw that it was my picture from last year. I looked at a couple of other windows and more of my pictures were there.

I turns out that Mrs. Robinson had taken the images and blown them up to 4 feet x 2 feet (by herself non-the-less) and then used them in the shop on both interior and exterior windows, complete with photo credit at the bottom. They were from the fashion show as part of the Montfort Hospital Fundraiser held last year at the Canada Aviation and Space Museum. I have at least three exterior windows and two interior windows (maybe three) with my pictures. If you’re in the area, walk by to see the pictures, walk in to buy a dress.

She did well to blow up the pictures because they were only 12 megabytes to start with, shot at 1600 iso and she cropped them to get a portrait orientation. Anyway, here are the pictures in the windows (excuse the reflections but I didn’t have a polarizer with me).
